Faculty Development Program 2026 on Modern Teaching & Research Successfully Concluded at IMRT Business School Gomti Nagar Lucknow Uttar Pradesh

Institute of Management Research and Technology (IMRT) successfully concluded a Three-Day Faculty Development Program (FDP) from 18th to 20th May 2026 with the objective of enhancing modern teaching practices, research capabilities, mentoring skills, and analytical understanding among faculty members.

The FDP was organized around the theme “Understanding Gen-Z, Modern Pedagogy, Research Innovation, Case Study Teaching for MBA & SPSS” and provided educators with valuable insights into the changing dynamics of higher education and student learning methodologies.

The sessions on Day I and Day II were conducted by Dr. Nidhi Khare, who elaborated on understanding Gen-Z learners and adopting modern pedagogical approaches in classrooms. The sessions focused on innovative teaching methodologies, collaborative learning, experiential learning practices, and student-centric educational strategies that can help educators create more engaging and effective learning environments.

On Day III, an inspiring session titled Beyond Classroom was delivered by Respected Shri Vijay Bhushan Ji (IPS), IG (Retd.), whose distinguished service and leadership in the Uttar Pradesh Police Department have been widely admired. His insightful interaction with faculty members emphasized the importance of discipline, leadership, ethics, and holistic student development beyond traditional classroom teaching. Drawing from his vast administrative and professional experience, he motivated participants to nurture values, responsibility, and real-world perspectives among students.

The concluding technical session was conducted by Dr. Ram Komal Prasad on Academic Publishing, Research Innovation, and Bloom’s Taxonomy. The session provided practical exposure to quality research practices, innovative academic frameworks, publication ethics, and outcome-based teaching approaches. Faculty members also gained valuable understanding of case-study teaching methods and the practical application of SPSS in academic research and data analysis.

The Faculty Development Program served as an enriching and interactive platform for educators to exchange ideas, enhance professional competencies, and explore innovative teaching-learning practices aligned with contemporary educational needs. The sessions were highly informative, practical, and well appreciated by all participants.
