IMRT Business School Hosts Grand Three-Day “Fusion Fest 2026” in Lucknow

IMRT Business School, Lucknow, successfully organized its much-awaited three-day cultural and sports extravaganza, “Fusion Fest 2026,” creating an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm, creativity, and vibrant student participation.

The grand event was inaugurated by Prof. R. K. Mittal, Vice Chancellor of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The opening ceremony began with a traditional ribbon-cutting and balloon release, setting a festive tone across the campus. In his address, Prof. Mittal emphasized the importance of maintaining a balance between education and health, encouraging students to focus equally on academics, physical well-being, and cultural development.

The event also witnessed the esteemed presence of Chairman and former IPS officer Mr. Desh Raj Bansal, along with Director Prof. Shilpika Pandey, faculty members, administrative staff, and a large number of enthusiastic students.

A Blend of Sports, Culture, and Talent

“Fusion Fest 2026” was designed as a holistic platform combining sports, cultural, and academic activities, allowing students to showcase their diverse talents. The festival saw participation from around 45 colleges across Lucknow, with over 300 students actively engaging in various competitions.

Sports events included football, cricket, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, and carrom, where participants demonstrated exceptional teamwork, skill, and sportsmanship. IMRT teams delivered remarkable performances, winning several key matches, including finals in cricket and volleyball categories.

Cultural Performances Steal the Show

The cultural segment emerged as a major highlight of the fest, featuring events like nukkad natak (street plays), group dances, solo performances, and Battle of Bands. Students captivated the audience with their creativity, energy, and artistic expression.

A special mention goes to the group dance competition, where Sonic Crew from Lucknow Public College of Professional Studies secured the first position, while Team Rituals from Jai Narain Mishra PG College claimed the runner-up spot.

Fusion Fest 2026 not only fostered healthy competition but also provided a platform for students to express their creativity and build confidence. The seamless organization and enthusiastic participation made the event both inspiring and memorable.
