On the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi (14 April), IMRT Business School, through its Impact Social Welfare Club, successfully organized a meaningful Seva (selfless service) initiative at Sachkhand Sahib Gurdwara. The event, held at 1:00 PM near the college campus, aimed to promote the values of community service, humility, and social responsibility among students.
This special service project invited students to “Join for a Day of Selfless Service”, aligning perfectly with the spirit of Baisakhi—a festival that symbolizes prosperity, gratitude, and togetherness. A total of 53 students and 4 faculty members actively participated in the initiative, making it a proud and impactful moment for the institution.
The event focused on key values such as serving the community, promoting humility and responsibility, and celebrating the true spirit of Baisakhi. Students enthusiastically engaged in various seva activities at the Gurdwara, experiencing firsthand the importance of selfless contribution and collective harmony. The peaceful and spiritual environment further enhanced their understanding of compassion, equality, and gratitude.
As part of the program, an Ardas (prayer) was offered for the well-being of all, followed by donations of essential items such as flour, sugar, and oil to support the Gurdwara’s community kitchen (Langar). One of the most enriching experiences of the day was when all participants sat together and shared Prasad, reinforcing the values of unity and equality beyond social boundaries.
This initiative not only strengthened the bond between students and faculty but also highlighted IMRT’s commitment to nurturing socially responsible individuals. By stepping outside the classroom and engaging in real-world service activities, students gained valuable life lessons that go beyond academics.
The institution expresses its sincere gratitude to D. R. Bansal, Honorable Chairman, for his continuous support and motivation. Special thanks to Mrs. Shilpika Pandey, Director, for encouraging such meaningful community engagement programs.
IMRT Business School also appreciates the dedication and efforts of all teachers, volunteers, and students who contributed to the success of this event.
Through initiatives like this, IMRT continues to uphold its vision of developing not just skilled professionals but also compassionate individuals who are committed to making a positive impact on society.
